What is it?
Crow's feet, also known as smile lines, appear over time as a result of repeated smiling or squinting. Over the years, the creases from these facial movements leave their mark in the form of fine lines and wrinkles. These lines can become more prominent from sun exposure, skin type, smoking or an inconsistent skincare routine.
The more your skin ages, collagen and elastin naturally slow. These proteins help our skin have structure and elasticity, so when their presence fades, wrinkles from our facial expressions can start to add up. Crow's feet are normal and harmless, but that doesn't mean you have to like them. The team at Mountain State Dermatology can help you design a personalized treatment plan to minimize lines and wrinkles.
