Basal Cell Carcinoma
Basal cell carcinoma is the most common form of skin cancer. When detected early, most basal cell carcinomas can be treated and cured and are not considered life-threatening.
Mohs Surgery
A surgery that cuts away thin layers of skin to address skin cancer. Mohs performed by our certified physicians has a high cure rate and minimizes damage to healthy tissue.
Treatment of Moles
Moles are a common skin growth that can vary in color, shape and size. Some moles can develop into melanoma, so it is important to see a dermatologist if you see any changes.
All Services
Patient satisfaction remains my top priority. One of my patients describes her families first visit with me...'very professional and caring staff. I knew immediately that my son was in good hands, putting two nervous parents at ease. Highly recommend Dr. Carlisle!'

About Your Provider
Dr. Carlisle started his medical career after graduating as a physician assistant from Alderson Broaddus College. After five years of working in primary care in Salem, WV, Dr. Carlisle decided to further his medical career by attending medical school at West Virginia University. Following medical school, he completed a dermatology residency at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. Before returning to his home state to practice, he completed a dermatologic surgery/Mohs fellowship in Columbus, OH.

Over the past 15 years, Dr. Carlisle has limited his practice to dermatologic and Mohs micrographic surgery. This surgery includes the removal of both malignant and benign cutaneous lesions, as well as cosmetic reconstructions. Working at the same locations since completing his fellowship has allowed Dr. Carlisle to build an exceptional surgical team, encompassing front staff, physician scheduler, office manager, histo-technicians, and nurses. Several of his staff have been with him since the practice began.

As a provider, Dr. Carlisle aims to provide the best surgical treatment with the best cosmetic result while making your procedure as stress-free as possible. He and his team strive to provide a comfortable experience so that you would not hesitate to return for care in the future if required.
