A skin treatment that removes surface-level skin cells with naturally-derived, medical-grade ingredients to reveal smoother, rejuvenated skin.
What is it?
Chemical peels are an effective and safe way to improve your complexion. They are derived from natural ingredients and have been safely used in dermatology for over 50 years. Patients find improvement from chemical peels for acne, fine lines and wrinkles, age spots and discoloration. After treatment removes built-up skin cells, your skin has a smoother texture and clearer complexion.
You are unique and so is your skin. It is important to have a qualified professional prescribe the right type and level of peel for your skin. Selecting the right peel and removing it at just the right time ensures you get the best results with the least irritation to your skin.
What to expect
The duration of your peel can vary based on the type prescribed and how your skin reacts to it. Some treatments can be as fast as 15 minutes. First, our team will cleanse your face, preparing your skin for the peel. We expertly apply the peel and monitor its interaction with your skin throughout the treatment. When the ideal results are achieved for your unique skin, we'll remove the chemical peel. If you have discomfort after the treatment, we can offer cold compresses and soothing skin care products.
Before leaving our office, your provider will give you a personalized home-care regimen. Following this post-treatment routine will maximize the results you see and reduce any downtime. We'll let you know how long to avoid makeup and what to expect with redness and swelling. For medium or deep peels, a follow-up visit may be required to ensure you get the best result.
