Emily (Reedy) Boswell, PA-C, is a board-certified dermatology physician assistant serving patients in Morgantown, West Virginia, and at Mountain State Dermatology in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She provides comprehensive medical and general dermatology care, with a focus on acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss and alopecia, and autoimmune skin diseases. Emily also has extensive experience diagnosing and treating skin cancer, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and actinic keratosis, as well as managing hidradenitis suppurativa. Patients appreciate her thorough, compassionate approach to helping them achieve healthier skin.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from West Liberty University in West Liberty, West Virginia, where she also competed on the volleyball team. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Practice degree through the Department of Physician Assistant Education at the University of Dayton. Emily is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
To further specialize in skin health, Emily completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) Diplomate Fellowship Program, an advanced training program for dermatology PAs. She stays active in the field as a volunteer on the SDPA's Communications Committee and as a member of the SDPA's RISE DermPA program, which supports professional growth and mentorship within dermatology.
Outside the clinic, Emily enjoys traveling, working out, reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. She's also a devoted basketball fan, cheering on her husband, who coaches at Fairmont State University. Emily is dedicated to helping patients in Morgantown and Uniontown feel confident in their skin at every stage of life.
